Abstract:Victim Yongama deposited ZAR 2,000 deposit at the crypto platform Earnersoption, but got stuck in the withdrawal procedure. Meanwhile he was asked to pay a OCC fee worth of ZAR 10,500 OCC fees after sending the withdrawal request. This frequently happens in Forex scams.

Victim Yongama deposited ZAR 2,000 deposit at the crypto platform Earnersoption, but got stuck in the withdrawal procedure. Meanwhile he was asked to pay a OCC fee worth of ZAR 10,500 OCC fees after sending the withdrawal request. This frequently happens in Forex scams.
On the 30th of August in 2020, the victim bought ZAR 10,500 worth of bitcoins on the Luno and sent it to the address provided by an account manager from Earnersoption. After verifying the account and personal information on the Earnersoption, the victim received the confirmation from the illegal broker via email. The broker claimed that the process of withdrawal was pending due to the OCC fees to be paid. In this email, OCC was described as an important payment and an operation currency converter, which delayed the progress of withdrawal.



The Eanersoption has been suspended and scored 1.01 out of 10 on the WikiFX. The website of Earnersoption is also suspended and linked with Middleton.
