A:A successful Introducing Broker must truly understand the needs of their clients and be able to ease their fears about the market. Honesty and transparency are crucial — especially when explaining the risks associated with trading.

II. Industry Trends, Trading Safety & Future Responsibilities
Q4:As competition in the forex market becomes increasingly intense, how do you think the industry can achieve sustainable development?
A: Technology and Transparent Operations
- Advances in AI, blockchain, and data analytics allow brokers to automate operations, personalize services, and enhance transparency, directly addressing client trust and regulatory requirements.
- Blockchain integration promotes accurate recordkeeping and reduces operational inefficiencies, making the overall forex ecosystem more reliable and competitive.
- CRM systems tailored for forex brokers help streamline workflows, support multi-level partner programs, and optimize customer lifecycle for efficient and scalable growth.
Risk Management and Education
- Robust risk management frameworks, including ESG risk evaluation and avoiding speculative trading that can destabilize economies, protect both traders and markets from excessive volatility.
- Educating traders and investors about sustainability-focused strategies and emerging policies ensures broader adoption of practices that support healthy market growth.
Q5:What do you think is the most prominent “trading safety” risk in todays global forex market? From an industry perspective, how can we build a safer and more reliable trading environment to enhance investor trust?
A: The main point is that todays biggest trading-safety risks in forex come from very high leverage combined with volatility, weak or fake regulation, and cyber/security threats around online platforms. Industry can make the environment safer and build investor trust through stronger regulation and transparency, better infrastructure and cybersecurity, and tighter risk controls plus education for retail traders.
- Biggest current risks:
- High volatility plus high leverage that can wipe out retail accounts in seconds, especially during news, gaps, or low liquidity.
- Unregulated or lightly regulated brokers, scam platforms, and fraudulent “managed accounts” that can block withdrawals or disappear with client funds.
- Settlement and counterparty risk in the wholesale FX system, where a failure of one party can affect others.
- Cyber risks: hacked accounts, phishing, data theft around fully online trading.
- How to build a safer environment (industry-level):
- Stronger, more harmonized regulation worldwide: clear licensing standards, capital requirements, client-fund segregation, sensible leverage limits, and strict rules on marketing and conduct.
- More transparency: clear disclosure of broker model (market maker vs STP/ECN), execution quality, slippage statistics, and complaint history.
- Stronger market and tech infrastructure: robust trading and post-trade systems, safer settlement mechanisms, better uptime and incident handling.
- Better cybersecurity: mandatory 2FA, encryption, fraud monitoring, penetration testing, and secure networks, plus user awareness against scams.
