Process

This time, the inspection team went to the UAE as planned to visit the forex broker GCEX. According to public information, its office address is 8th floor, The Offices 4, One Central, Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai.

A professional and experienced inspection team, carrying the mission of strictly vetting for investors, made a carefully planned trip to the UAE to conduct an on-site verification of the broker GCEX, which claims to be located at 8th floor, The Offices 4, One Central, Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai.

The inspection personnel arrived smoothly at the One Central building. This location is a landmark in downtown Dubai, an ultra-luxury office area surrounded by numerous office buildings with a strong commercial atmosphere.

No company signage or related information for GCEX was found on the exterior of the building, but the corresponding building directory was photographed.

The inspection personnel entered the building lobby and, after stating their purpose to the security guard, were granted access.

However, after entering the building, they discovered that the location was a WeWork shared office. There was no company directory listing for GCEX in the building, nor was the company's LOGO visible. Since the specific floor could not be confirmed, the inspection personnel were unable to reach the target floor, and therefore could not confirm whether GCEX's office area had clear signage or security measures, let alone enter the interior. At the same time, they were also unable to photograph the reception desk and its LOGO.

Because entry was not permitted, the inspection personnel could not observe the company's internal office environment or obtain information such as the number of rooms and workstations.

Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it was confirmed that the broker GCEX does not exist at the aforementioned address.

Conclusion

At its publicly displayed business address, they could not see the company name or other information of the broker, indicating that the broker does not have a legitimate business premises.
