Abstract:Interactive Brokers boosts investing with TipRanks’ Smart Score, Trending Stocks tools, and Forecast Contracts for Europe. Get data-driven insights.

Interactive Brokers (Nasdaq: IBKR) has expanded its collaboration with TipRanks, adding a broader set of investment research tools to its platform to support stock and ETF analysis. The upgrade includes analyst consensus views, price targets, and the Smart Score stock forecasting tool, which rates securities on a 1–10 scale using eight market factors. Smart Score classifies 8–10 as “Outperform,” 4–7 as “Neutral,” and 1–3 as “Underperform,” aggregating inputs such as analyst ratings, insider activity, hedge fund moves, and news sentiment into a single metric.
The Interactive Brokers TipRanks integration also features Trending Stocks analytics, surfacing equities drawing significant analyst attention in real time, alongside Insider Stocks, which highlights trading by corporate insiders. TipRanks says it tracks more than 100,000 financial experts and aims to make previously exclusive datasets available to all investors, with tools already adopted by brokers across the U.S., Singapore, England, and Canada. Uri Gruenbaum, TipRanks CEO, called the expanded partnership an opportunity to share tools and insights with investors globally.

In parallel, Interactive Brokers introduced Forecast Contracts to the European market, offering yes-or-no event-driven instruments tied to financial, economic, and climate outcomes. Each contract represents a specific question, trades between $0.02 and $0.99 based on implied probabilities, and settles at $1.00 if true or $0.00 if false. Trading is available nearly 24 hours a day, 6 days a week, via IBKRs ForecastTrader web interface and other platforms, with eligibility varying by jurisdiction.
Interactive Brokers positions these additions as part of a comprehensive platform that blends research depth with product breadth for global investors. TipRanks' investment research tools are accessible within IBKRs Discover Tool and Fundamentals Explorer, including lists such as Top Smart Score Stocks and Trending Stocks to streamline idea generation and screening. The combination of the Smart Score stock forecasting tool, Trending Stocks analytics, and the broader TipRanks investment research tools, alongside Forecast Contracts in the European market, is intended to help clients identify opportunities and manage event-driven risks more effectively.
