FXGT, a Seychelles-based brokerage entity, is receiving serious allegations from users concerning their trading experiences. Allegations primarily center on the difficulties traders have witnessed concerning fund withdrawals. Besides, users have taken strong exception to the illegitimate profit deductions on the FXGT login dashboard. There are also complaints of heavy slippage wiping out traders gains. In this FXGT review, we have examined a host of user allegations against the broker.

A user from Hong Kong reportedly traded the Non-farm Payroll release in February 2026. Considering a bearish outcome, the trader deposited a small amount of $1000 to go short. The trade resulted in his favour and showed a profit of $6,747.09 on the FXGT login. According to the user, the entire process involved manual trading that capitalized on the data release. However, the broker allegedly informed the trader of a profit cancellation, citing a violation of trading norms.
According to the broker, the profit cancellation was due to an alleged abuse of negative balance protection by the trader. In defence, the trader claimed to be in a profitable position without negative balance. At the same time, the trader questioned why the platform did not restrict the leverage if it felt suspicious. Finding the brokers action questionable, the trader hit out with this negative FXGT review.

A South Korean trader accused FXGT of constantly pressuring traders into depositing on the platform. Due to this tactic, the trader reportedly had funds worth $57,000 locked up in the system. The broker allegedly failed to respond to his $27,000 withdrawal request. Here is the complaint where the trader made such revelations.

The complainant claimed that FXGT rejected a withdrawal request for $1,957.11, citing an alleged terms violation without providing specific details or supporting evidence. The user said customer service attributed the decision to a system judgment and could not clarify the alleged breach. The trader further alleged that account access was restricted without resolving the withdrawal issue. The complaint demanded the release of the funds, a written explanation of the account action, and a formal apology. The complainant also threatened to escalate the matter to regulators, consumer authorities, and the media. For more details, check this long FXGT review.

A user from Hong Kong claimed to have used official channels for forex trading operations on the FXGT platform. According to the complaint, all deposit processes adhered to the platforms requirements. However, the broker allegedly rejected his withdrawal request, citing a trading violation by the user, who refutes this claim while sharing the review online. Here is what the trader said.

A user from the Philippines claimed to have his account blown up due to heavy slippage on a XAU/USD trade. Taken aback by this, the trader claimed that he had never experienced anything like this before while sharing the FXGT review online. Take a look at this screenshot.

Is FXGT regulated? The answer is YES! The broker has four forex licenses, each from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CYSEC), the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), The Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA), and the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC). It has one more license, this one from the Financial Services Commission (FSC). Out of the five regulations, three are considered robust: CYSEC, FSCA and FSC. The other two are offshore regulations, reducing the safety net for investors should the broker become bankrupt or discontinue operations. However, due to a large number of complaints concerning withdrawal denials and illegitimate profit deductions, the WikiFX team has reduced the brokers score to 1.64 out of 10. WikiFX alone has recorded 75 complaints so far.

While FXGT provides diverse asset coverage, flexible account tiers, and formal licensing across multiple jurisdictions (including CYSEC and FSCA), the growing volume of user complaints raises substantial red flags.
The primary risks highlighted by traders include:
Disputed Profit Deductions: Multiple reports of unilateral profit cancellations under vague clauses such as “trading violations” or “abusing negative balance protection” following high-impact news trading.
Withdrawal Bottlenecks & Frozen Funds: Delays and rejections during payout requests, often accompanied by sudden account access restrictions.
Execution & Slippage Issues: Extreme price slippage during volatile market sessions, resulting in significant drawdowns or margin calls.
Offshore Regulatory Exposure: While tier-2 and tier-3 regulators cover certain entities, many global retail traders are onboarded under offshore licenses (such as Seychelles or Vanuatu), offering weaker investor compensation mechanisms.
Prospective and existing traders should proceed with caution. If choosing to trade with FXGT, verify which specific regulatory entity holds your account, avoid deploying substantial capital until withdrawal reliability is tested, and maintain meticulous trade logs and communication records to mitigate potential dispute risks.
