Ultima Markets Launches Weekend Gold CFD on MT5
Abstract:Ultima Markets has added a weekend gold CFD on MT5 under the XAUUSD247 symbol, offering Saturday and Sunday trading with smaller contract sizes and wider weekend spreads.

Ultima Markets has introduced a gold CFD that can be traded over the weekend through MetaTrader 5.
The new instrument, XAUUSD247, remains available on Saturdays and Sundays, extending gold trading beyond the normal weekday schedule.
One lot represents one ounce of gold, while the maximum position size is capped at 100 lots. Leverage is available up to 1:100.
Weekend Trading Comes With Wider Spreads
The broker lists an indicative spread of 20 points during weekdays and 40 points over the weekend.
The wider weekend pricing reflects lower liquidity outside normal gold market hours. Trading conditions may therefore differ noticeably from standard XAUUSD sessions.
XAUUSD247 is offered as a separate instrument rather than an extension of the brokers existing weekday gold contract.
The product is also listed under the crypto instruments section on the platform, despite tracking gold. No explanation was provided for the classification.
Weekend Gold Products Continue to Appear
The launch follows a broader move among forex and CFD brokers to add separate gold products for weekend trading.
These instruments typically use smaller contract sizes, tighter exposure limits and wider spreads than conventional weekday gold CFDs.
Ultima Markets has not specified in the product announcement which legal entity provides XAUUSD247 or in which jurisdictions the instrument is available.
