Ringgit Slips vs US Dollar, Gains on All Other Majors
The Malaysian ringgit slipped marginally against the US dollar to 4.0945/0985 on August 4, 2026, pressured by stronger-than-expected US manufacturing data that pushed the DXY above 100. However, the local currency strengthened against all other major and regional currencies including the yen, euro, pound, baht, rupiah, peso, and Singapore dollar.
